We're looking for a creative, driven, and strategic Brand Marketing Director / Manager to help elevate our brand in the eyes of our core customer, ensure consistency across all touchpoints, and drive measurable organic customer acquisition through powerful storytelling and campaigns that emotionally connect with our audience.
Role Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for bringing Paragon's identity to life through emotionally compelling campaigns, content, and storytelling that reflect our customer's energy, mindset, and lifestyle. More than anyone in the company, you'll be laser-focused on understanding and connecting with our customer. "Customer-obsessed." You will ensure brand cohesion across all channels, oversee content creation, and manage cross-functional collaboration to build our brand-customer connection. Ultimately, your work should drive measurable brand awareness that translates to organic customer acquisition and long-term growth — this is your primary metric of success.
Key Responsibilities
- Organic Customer Acquisition & Brand Strategy
- Drive Organic Customer Acquisition as your top priority result area
- Build and execute strategies that attract new customers through brand awareness, content reach, and community building
- Increase branded search share quarter-over-quarter, expand organic social reach with shareable content
- Foster a brand community that turns customers into advocates, measured through UGC generation, social mentions, and referral traffic
- Messaging & Voice Development
- Define, refine, and protect Paragon's brand voice across all channels
- Ensure every piece of copy and creative communicates with clarity, purpose, and authenticity
- Craft clear, compelling messaging that reflects Paragon's voice and resonates with our target audience
- Campaign Development & Management
- Create emotionally compelling evergreen campaigns based on First Touchpoint Strategies
- Lead storytelling and creative direction for calendar moments (new year's, valentine's day, black friday, etc.) and monthly product launches
- Ensure all promotions and campaigns align with brand positioning and customer values
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as the connective tissue between all teams to align messaging, visual identity, and execution
- Collaborate with Influencer, Paid Social, and Product Design teams to ensure brand consistency
- Lead with clarity, prioritize effectively, and ensure timelines and deliverables are met
- Customer & Market Insights
- Use qualitative and quantitative insights to inform positioning, messaging, and creative concepts
- Identify what emotionally resonates with our audience and translate that understanding into campaigns
- Ensure brand identity evolves based on real audience engagement
- Brand Equity Development
- Cultivate brand equity through consistency across all touchpoints
- Champion brand quality in even the smallest details—from typography in emails to influencer captions
- Build long-term trust and loyalty through a cohesive, high-integrity brand experience
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, preferably in DTC
- A proven track record of driving organic customer acquisition through brand initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to build campaigns that convert awareness into measurable customer growth
- Growth-Oriented Brand Building — Balances long-term brand equity with measurable organic acquisition metrics; understands how brand initiatives translate to customer acquisition; can articulate and measure the ROI of brand investments
- Customer-First Mindset — Builds with deep empathy for our customer; considers her values, aspirations, and emotional triggers in every campaign
- Strategic Brand Thinking — Thinks beyond campaign aesthetics to understand brand positioning, customer psychology, and business objectives
- Exceptional communication and project management skills, with the ability to navigate multiple workstreams
